Harborfest, Parade of Sails

Harborfest, Parade of Sails takes place every Summer in Norfolk, Virginia. If you get a chance to watch the tall ships come into port it is just fascinating. Ships come from around the world. If you don’t get to see them under sail in you will still be able to see them up close and personal and may even have to opportunity to walk aboard some of the ships.

Fireworks take place some time during the Harborfest weekend and are by far some of the best in the area. I usually get a group of friends together to have a picnic dinner on the grass.
