You're right--December is such a wonderful time to visit Colonial Williamsburg. No crowds, and the Lighting Ceremony (also called the Grand Illumination) is such a memorable experience! Whyte's is such a delicious temptation--they even have sugar free chocolates--or you can pop into Barnes & Noble on the main street to warm up for awhile...
