Save Time with a New Busch Gardens Game Pass

Busch-Gardens-Williamsburg
You'll flip for Alpengeist!

Playing games is easier than ever, thanks to Busch Gardens Game Pass, a new game play card at Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Purchase a Game Pass at the park and you can load or reload it at the kiosks (located in the Oktoberfest and Italy game areas). Ready to play a game? Just have the game attendant swipe your game pass and you're off! No need to carry cash around!

Busch Gardens Game Passes have no expiration date and can be used in any Anheuser-Busch Adventure Park participating in the Games Pass program.

Many of the arcade games are located in the Italy and Germany sections of the amusement park. If you want to concentrate in Italy for awhile, be sure to check out Roman Rapids, a family float ride where you can get soaked (remember that, for hot summer days!), and Apollo's Chariot a very long and highly-rated traditional coaster. If you're looking for something on the s-l-o-w-e-r side, try the Tea Cup ride. The train also makes a stop here at the Festa Station.

To find out what else you'll see in Italy, including Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions, go to our county-by-country Busch Gardens Williamsburg Tour & Tips page.

Most of the arcade games in Germany fall between Das Festhaus, an indoor restaurant where you can buy German-themed food and enjoy a perpetual Oktoberfest, and the Curse of DarKastle, an elaborate, 4D fright ride. You can also read our review of the Curse of DarKastle on our Tour & Tips page.

Lockers and Other Helpful Info

If you really win big in the arcades, you could end up with some rather large stuffed animals. Now what do you do? Walk around the park with them? Some people certainly do, but if you want to keep your hands free, you can rent a locker to hold your winnings, jackets, etc., for the day.

All day lockers are located in England, just beyond the Clocktower and the Garden Gate center. You can rent a large locker for $8 for the day. They're big enough to hold a really large backpack. Small lockers are $6 per day. (You can also find small, single-use lockers near certain rides for $3 per use.)

What if you win one of those really huge stuffed dragons or other creature? You're stuck with them! That's one reason you may want to consider holding off on using your Busch Gardens Game Pass until later in the day.

Keep in mind that the park's hours vary by date and day of the week. Go to our Hours & Operating Schedule page to see how late the park is open the day you're planning to visit.
